Anthropic reportedly warned investors in an IPO prospectus recently circulated to a small group of partners that its technology may pose “existential risks to humanity.” The filing also described the potential for advanced models to manipulate or blackmail; people familiar with it said two clients accounted for close to a quarter of last year’s revenue.
